Jenni sought out yoga more than 10 years ago to
find some bliss.
After years of practicing gentle yoga, a sweaty Forrest Yoga
class planted her on an energizing, inspiring path of physical and emotional
transformation. The strength and beauty of Forrest Yoga helped Jenni calm her
mind, strengthen her body, and reconnect with her spirit. Now, practicing
yoga brings deep relaxation, much-needed stress relief, and the sweet and
joyful experience of feeling both comfortable and strong.
Prenatal and postnatal yoga became a part of Jenni’s life
when she was pregnant with her first baby in 2005. Jenni practiced
extensively with prenatal yoga teacher and doula Sarah Longacre, and then
helped Sarah on her journey to creating Blooma,
a yoga studio for women and their young families in Minneapolis. Postnatal
Yoga Bonding became an important weekly outing for Jenni with both of her
babies, from the time they were just a few weeks old.
Jenni is a certified, senior Forrest Yoga
instructor and a graduate of the Advanced Forrest
Yoga Teacher Training program. She is also a certified Postnatal Yoga Bonding
instructor. She began teaching yoga in 2003, added prenatal classes in 2007,
and began teaching postnatal yoga in 2008.
Jenni is a freelance writer and editor.
Her work has appeared in Spirituality
& Health, Pregnancy, FitPregnancy, Natural Solutions, and other
magazines and web sites.
